Launched in 2012, Tinder has 4.7 million subscribers. Available in 190 countries and in more than 40 languages, the app gained popularity in Indonesia in 2014. Online dating is not a foreign idea for Indonesians, especially for the younger generation. According to Tinder, most of its users in Indonesia are millennials.
