Question: What kind of hook ups do campgrounds have?

At most campgrounds, “Full Hookups” means youll have sewer, water, and electric hookups. Its the sewer hook-up that often makes a campsite “Full Hookup.” Sewer hookups allow your waste to go right out of your RV through your sewer hose.

What kind of hookups does an RV need?

RV electrical hookups are either 30 amp or 50 amp. An easy way to tell which amperage your camper uses is that a 30 amp cord has three prongs and a 50 amp has four. Find the RV electrical plug (it looks like a washing machine plug). Its usually retractable and kept in a small marked compartment on the side of the rig.
