Should couples read the Bible together?

It is good for dating couples to spend time reading the Bible together, but just as there are physical boundaries in dating, it is wise to have spiritual boundaries too. Heres a rule of thumb: if its spiritual bonding you wouldnt do with a friend, dont do it with a boyfriend or girlfriend.

If a person is married, their spouse comes next in the order of lifes priorities. According to Paul a married man is to love his wife as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:22-25). Beyond His desire to obey and glorify His father, Jesus first priority was the church.
