To be brief, fair and not too harsh, we found the Estonians to be generally FAR from friendly. In fact, we would go as far to say that they are the unfriendliest bunch of people weve come across in our extensive travels.

Estonia is one of Europes most spacious countries. In Estonia you are never more than a 30-minute drive away from a forest or a lake. The living environment is very clean, relaxed and safe. According to the World Health Organization, Estonia has the best overall air quality in the entire world.

Estonia is pretty safe to travel to. Its crime rates are mostly low, and though there are areas to avoid, pickpockets, mugging or other types of assault are not common. However, the capital city of Tallinn can get a bit dangerous, like any other major city.
