Is mon Ami romantic?

So of course a post about love in French should include the word for friends! To say “my friend” in French, its mon ami or mon amie. You cant say ma amie even if your friend is a girl, because the two words will clash on the vowels and sound awkward. And a romantic language like French must never be awkward!
