What do you need to apply on backstage?

Required assets can include a photo, video reel, audio reel, or cover letter. Once all required assets are present, all the circles will have a green check mark. As shown in the screenshot above, the cover letter asset has not yet been added. An application cannot be submitted unless all assets are accounted for.

How do you get paid Backstage?

You can do this by clicking on the Hire & Pay via Backstage button on the applicant card. After clicking on that button, you will next see a pop-up with the option of either sending a direct payment now or for ordering a media asset and paying after delivery. Select the role the payment will be for.

Do you have to pay to apply for jobs on backstage?

With Backstage, you never pay to audition. As a matter of fact, that practice is illegal!

How do you audition for backstage?

These applications will always include your Backstage Talent Profile. Tap on a casting call to bring up the Production Details screen. From here, tap on the Roles tab to see what roles are available. Once you have decided on which role to apply to, tap on the purple Apply button.

How much do you have to pay for Backstage?

Backstage fees amount to $12.50 per month or $150 per year. And that subscription rate is often discounted. When we checked recently, membership was going for as little as $6.25 per month, if you signed on for the yearly plan. The site appears to offer a lot of non-union work in student productions.
