What is a girls first date?

“My ideal first date with a girl would be just taking her out to a place thats not a dinner and a movie. Thats giving off a needy impression and women hate that I feel like (some). I just feel like doing something fun (cooking class, rock climbing, going to the gym) all work instead of the movies and dinner.

Is it weird to pick up a girl on the first date?

It does not matter if you pick her up or meet her, the point of your first date is to get to spend more time with her and to know the person better. So do whatever you feel like doing, do whatever it feels right listen to your inner self and just go for it.
